This video is more evidence supporting my conclusion that the Anglosphere - the English speaking nations - brought order and civil society to the planet. Those parts of the planet whose cultural capital is not derived from having been greatly influenced or colonized by Britania are far less civil and more chaotic. There are exceptions of course, but generally, the English speaking people and nations are more civil than the others.

Face it - the English speaking people have brought order to the world.

Re: Video: Traffic in Tehran

Is there any doubt that draconian Socialism is a good when it comes to traffic?

Re: Video: Traffic in Tehran

That's nothing- you should see Saigon!

Re: Video: Traffic in Tehran

Actually, pretty much every second/third world country looks just about like this. I was in Thailand before and in The Philippines now... and this is pretty tame.

Re: Video: Traffic in Tehran

Traffic in China was like this a few years ago and probably still is in many areas. It's not scary if you're used to it. There's a certain logic to the madness.

Re: Video: Traffic in Tehran

there is kind of a symmetry here to the flow of traffic. no sudden moves or your toast!
